Faridabad is the biggest city in the Indian state of Haryana. It is also the leading industrial hub of Haryana. On 24thMay 2016 the government of India included Faridabad in the prestigious list of smart cities mission. In Faridabad, sector 66 to 89 have been recently developed as the high-class residential and industrial corridor. This coveted corridor lies between the Yamuna River and the Agra canal and is known as greater Faridabad.

The climate of Faridabad is similar to other cities in the national capital region. It is summers from the month of April to July and from July to September are the months when the monsoon hits the region. Winter in Faridabad starts from October and lasts till February.
